The Shade Chronicles Podcast wants your story submissions for our podcast. We are looking for stories that are in an audio format, preferably .mp3 or .wav file format with a maximum length of 20 minutes. We'd prefer a dramatized reading with sound effects and music like the stories featured in season 1 of the Shade Chronicles Podcast. Check out the first season of the Shade Chronicles here.

Stories are to be in a Sci Fi or Horror genre. The general mood of the stories are more moderate and avoid gratuitous violence, sex and gore. Think Ghostbusters meets Stephen King. On the Sci Fi side, we'd like to keep the Sci Fi this side of something like Dune. We realize this is a relative interpretation that will be different for everyone so do get hung up on it - submit your story and we'll let you know if it is a good fit.

If you have a story but are not able to provide it in a recorded format or can provide a recorded reading but do not have the ability to add music and sound effects, let us know. We will review these on a case by case basis and see if it is something we can still use.

All stories submitted are the sole property of the author/creator of the story. We will give you credit for your story in the podcast episode it is featured in and in any promotion material we post for the episode. There is no monetary compensation for accepted stories that appear in the podcast at this time.
